Blog 26.10.07 Tom on the French Tour: Lush venues, good food, and great audiences. It was also a pleasure having Stuart Flynn on with us doing ‘Help’ and ‘Moonraker’, which went down a storm every night. Off to Bilbao verrrry early tomorrow. It’s a place we played with Brakes/Maximo Park a couple years back. Beautiful theatre/venue type shenanigan. Right next to the Guggenheim too.
Blog 18.10.07 Amazing first night in Rennes last night. Couldn’t believe how many people turned up, us having not toured properly in France for four years. Very encouraging. We had an excellent first show and the venue staff were helpful and charming throughout. We’re in Paris tonight at the lovely Maroquinerie… Should just add that the two bands we have on tour with us are lush too:
The Strange Death Of Liberal England and The Love Bandits Check ‘em.
